SAD MAMA!!!!!
There is nothing worse than trying to explain to Bella that her babies are gone!! Its been 5 days and shes still begging to go downstairs to the puppy room! Its seriously devastating to watch, and she just sniffs everywhere, and lays down in the room whining! Its SO SAD! The good thing is she has Bear, and is spending much more time with him! He lays by her, and he licks her ears with her head on her arms! Its so sweet to watch! I just pray she gets it!! Shes still taking food in her mouth, down to the room, and shes just so confused! Its soooo horrible!! But in the next few days she'll get better, its just waiting till that time!! :(
Hello Everybodies!!!
Well you've got them home...now what?? PUPPY CLASSES!! Please remember, remember to take them to puppy classes! These babies want to please you, but they need the skills to do so!! From 7 to 12 weeks is the Socialization Period!! Expose them to new sounds, new experiences! When they were here they heard everything, the dryer, vacumm, lots of children, and lots of other dogs! Make sure you take them everywhere so they can have those experiences! The puppy will learn more and retain more in these few weeks than ever in their whole life, good or bad! So make sure you are taking them to the puppy classes, so he or she can learn what you expect from them! Biting, growling, barking all completely normal puppy behavior, but now they are old enough to learn what they can and cannot do and it is all about consistancy! But please remember that these are also BABIES, and the way they play is by pulling each others tails, ears, ect. They have to learn they can't do that with their new human pack! But always with firmness and kindness! I'm excited for the new experiences they will have, they are so darling and were SO LOVED literally with all 6 of us carrying them around everywhere! They are just amazing dogs!!!
